How to play Water Sort

  1. Select a nonempty bottle, then select a destination. You can pour into an empty bottle or onto the same top color, provided there is space.
  2. Each pour moves as much of the top continuous color layer as will fit. Every bottle holds four units; lower colors stay in the source bottle.
  3. Use Undo to reverse a pour, or Restart to reset the current level. If you cannot find a legal move, undo an earlier pour or restart; there is no countdown.
  4. A level is complete when each nonempty bottle is full and contains just one color. Empty bottles may remain. Choose another level to keep playing.

Controls

Click or tap a source bottle, then a destination. The numbers identify colors as well as the color itself. Keyboard: Tab or arrow keys move between bottles; Enter or Space selects, Escape cancels, and Z undoes.

A few good moves

  • Empty bottles give you room to rearrange colors.
  • Check the color underneath before emptying a top layer.
  • Undo is useful when a pour uses the space you need elsewhere.

Each Water Sort level saves its bottles and up to 200 undo steps separately in this browser. Switching levels keeps progress; restarting clears the current level only.
